My "Crazy" World

In September 2019, suffered a stroke in September 2019 which affected my speech and language. I have recovered to an extent since then but still have difficulty finding the right words and pronouncing them properly.
The loss of speech and language - made reading and understanding difficult. Not being able to easily talk, text, write or email has been awful! I felt gutted!

I still feel angry that this happened to me and the sense of loss has been overwhelming. Over the Covid era, it got so much worse.

But, I am slowly recovering. The frustration and angry form the core of my series of painting called "CRAZY". Every painting starts with me attacking the blank canvas with bold pencil strokes and then, mostly with paint applied using an airbrush and random streaks of paint. Later in the creative process, I attempt to balance the colour palette.
I complete the paintings with mottos and symbols applied using stencils, often in gilt paint ....... and Glitter......
I do hope you enjoy my work.
